 OUR STORY

The Heart Behind Lenvora Care

Lenvora Care was born from both a professional calling and a deeply personal experience. After the passing of my father, my mother made the courageous decision to return to her native Liberia at the age of 74. She remained remarkably independent, doing her own shopping, exercising daily, and caring for herself. Although she had a caregiver who visited each day to prepare meals and check on her, she continued to live life on her own terms. As the years passed and my mother grew older, her needs gradually changed. Her memory began to fade, and she became more dependent on the person who had faithfully cared for her over the years. Eventually, her caregiver, Fatu, moved into the home to provide the support she needed. Living thousands of miles away, I came to understand that nothing is more important than knowing the person caring for someone you love is compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. That peace of mind became invaluable to me. Today, my mother is 90 years old, healthy, happy, and surrounded by the love of her family. Through years of kindness, consistency, and trust, Fatu has become much more than a caregiver—she has become part of our family. That journey taught me that exceptional home care is about far more than meeting physical needs. It is about preserving dignity, fostering independence whenever possible, building trust, and creating meaningful human connections.

That experience became the inspiration for Lenvora Care.

About The Name LENVORA

Lenvora is a name created with intention and heart. It does not come from a dictionary or another language. It was thoughtfully formed to represent the values at the core of our care. The name can be understood in two meaningful parts:

Together, Lenvora reflects compassionate support delivered with respect. Because the name is original, it carries the meaning we give it: warmth, reliability, and a commitment to help people live well at home. At Lenvora Care, the name is more than a brand—it is a promise.

MEET THE FOUNDER

From an Eight-Year-Old Dream to a Lifetime of Caring

I still remember it like it was yesterday. At just 8 years old, I was asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Without hesitation, I replied, “I want to be a nurse.”

At the time, I knew nothing about healthcare. I didn’t have a nurse in my family or a healthcare role model who inspired that answer. Looking back, I believe that passionwas planted in my heart long before I understood what nursing truly meant.

What began as the simple answer of an eight-year-old little girl became the foundation of a lifelong calling to care for others.

My healthcare journey began in 1994 when I accepted my first position as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a nursing home. Wanting to expand my skills, I became a Medical Assistant. Because many clinics in my area required bilingual staff, opportunities as a Medical Assistant were limited, so I worked briefly as a phlebotomist before returning to the work I loved most—caring directly for patients as a CNA.

As a single mother expecting my second child, I worked weekends as a live-in Home Health Aide while attending college during the week. Two years later, I earned a degree in Computer Science, and just two weeks after graduation, my second child was born.

I spent approximately two and a half years working at EMC² as an Environmental Hardware Test Technician. After the birth of my third child, however, I realized my heart still belonged in healthcare. I returned to working as a CNA, where I spent the next 11 years caring for individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

In October 2010, I made the decision to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. Three years later, I proudly earned my RN degree.

Since becoming a Registered Nurse, I have had the privilege of caring for patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Oncology, Long-Term Acute Care, Behavioral Health, and Long-Term Care.

Each role has strengthened my clinical knowledge, deepened my compassion, and reinforced one belief: exceptional care is about more than meeting medical needs. It is about preserving dignity, building trust, supporting families, and treating every individual
with kindness, compassion, and respect.

Those values became the foundation of Lenvora Care.

Lenvora Care was created from a lifetime of healthcare experience and a deep commitment to serving others. My goal is to provide compassionate, dependable, and dignified care that helps individuals remain safe, comfortable, and respected in the place they call home.

For me, healthcare has never simply been a career—it has been a calling that began with the words of an eight-year-old little girl and continues to shape my life’s purpose today.

I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the love and support of my family throughout this journey. Their encouragement, patience, and belief in me have helped make this dream a reality. I am deeply grateful for each of them.

It is both an honor and a privilege to continue that calling through Lenvora Care, serving individuals and families with the compassion, dignity, and respect they deserve.
